Yesterday, someone told me about an '80s show called "Mr. Smith." I'd never heard of it, which is no surprise given how little TV I was allowed to watch as a child. But, apparently, most people have never heard of it, because it only ran for one season.
Upon reading the show's synopsis, I've decided that this is a travesty. Because the show centers around an orangutan with a scientifically-enhanced IQ who goes to Washington to become a political consultant. Such a brilliant premise. I hope someone decides to remake it.
